JCC Plans Sukkot Events

EDISON – The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County will host a variety of Sukkot events, geared to both the general community and Jewish singles.

“Under a Sukkot Sky”, an intergenerational, community-wide celebration of the wonderful holiday of Sukkot, will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 6:30 p.m. The evening will include a “Shabbat-style” dinner in the JCC’s large sukkah, followed by live music and dessert. This is a free event, but registration is a must by Oct. 10. Contact Jennine at 1-732-494-3232 ext. 621.

“Jewish Singles Under the Stars” for ages 30-45 and 45-60 will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. in the JCC’s beautifully decorated sukkah. There will be an engaging speaker, light dairy dinner, music and schmoozing for only $12 in advance by noon on Oct. 12 and $15 at the door.

“Jewish Singles Sukkot Celebration” for ages 60+ will on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 11:30 a.m. -2 p.m. in the JCC’s beautifully decorated sukkah. Enjoy a schmooze and a shmear at a bagel brunch, with games, music, discussion and more! Only $12 in advance by noon on Oct. 12 and $15 at the door.
