PERTH AMBOY – Find out what’s lurking in the shadows at the Proprietary House Museum later this month during a special program that’s likely to appeal to those who enjoy tales of paranormal encounters.

As part of “Ghost Stories At The Museum,” a costumed guide will lead guests on a tour of the first floor and basement rooms of the museum while explaining some of the ghostly stories associated with the location.

Does a woman in white haunt the museum? Will the little boy ghost make his presence known? Can the spirits follow you home?

Bring a camera and digital tape recorder – there will be time to ghost hunt on your own for approximately one hour following the tour.

The Proprietary House Museum was featured on the SyFy Channel show “Ghost Hunters.”

“Ghost Stories At The Museum” will take place on Friday, Sept. 23 from 8:30-10:30 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $20 per person. Space is limited; call 1-732-826-5527 and leave your name, number of people in your group and phone number on the answering machine.
