Aug. 22 at 4:20 p.m. – Officer Antonio Manata investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 60 Walnut Avenue.

Aug. 23 at 9:34 p.m. – At Barnes & Noble Bookstore on the 1100 block of Raritan Road, Officer Eric Richter arrested Bloomfield resident Peter Primavera, Jr., 53, and charged him with shoplifting. The suspect was also detained on two outstanding warrants from Atlantic Highlands and East Orange. He was subsequently released after posting bail.

Aug. 25 at 7:40 a.m. – Officer Kenneth Sarnecki investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at Kathryn Street.

Aug. 30 at 9:11 a.m. – Officer Pedro Oliveira investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at Fan Street.

Sept. 1 at 11:29 a.m. – Officer Thomas Sarnecki investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at the 100 block of Riverside Drive.

Sept. 3 at 4:15 a.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road, Officer George Marmarou arrested Newark resident Michael Valle, 23, on outstanding warrants from Carteret and Roselle. He was subsequently turned over to the Roselle Police Department.

Sept. 7 at 8:34 a.m. – At Headquarters, Det. Alex Yanes arrested Edison resident Maria Fernandez, 36, and charged her with theft by deception. She was subsequently released pending a court date.
