I was in Tennessee at the time…
I turned on the news and watched what I wasn’t sure I was watching…
It was like somebody kicked the two front teeth out of my best friend…
…and I was angry…
Not because of the political implications,
most countries see more in a day than we’ve seen in our lifetimes…
No…it wasn’t about terrorism…
it was about my city…
It was about the fact that I was millions of miles away
and I couldn’t be there to help…
It was my city…
…and all I could do was watch…
