Sept. 3 – Shabbat in the Park: On this Saturday at 9:30 a.m., meet in Roosevelt Park (near the Open Grove by the covered pavilion in Kiddie Keepwell Camp in Edison) for a musical Shabbat service for the whole family. Bring chairs, pillows and blankets for comfortable seating. The service will be followed by a Kiddush for the entire community. Call the temple office for exact meeting location and details.
Sept.16 – The Tot Shabbat at 6 p.m. is a program aimed toward younger children. It includes an age appropriate Shabbat Service and a Jewish craft project. A service for adults begins at 8 p.m.
Sept. 18 — Religious School Open House: If you’re looking for a meaningful Reform Jewish education, come learn about Temple Emanu-El’s classes for grades K-12, which includes special education students. The program starts at 10:30 a.m. and will feature a performance by Shira Kline who sings “Hip Jewish Music for Kids.”
Holiday tickets for non-members — If you are not a member of Temple Emanu-El and would like to attend the temple’s holiday services, come to the temple office to register and to pick up tickets on Monday, Sept. 12 or the next Tuesday, Sept. 20, between 6 and 8 p.m.
