Temple Emanu-El Plans Open House

EDISON – Temple Emanu-El, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, will hold an open house so that area residents can learn more about the religious community.

The open house is planned for Friday, Aug. 26. There will be a special Shabbat Service Under the Starts at 7 p.m., followed by an ice cream social Oneg. There will be a chance for prospective members to get to know the Temple family and ask questions.

The temple will also hold a Tot Shabbat service on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m., which is geared towards younger children. In addition to the age-appropriate Shabbat Service, there will be a Jewish craft project. There will be a simultaneous service for adults and older children, as well.

Temple Emanu-El is located at 100 James Street, Edison. For more information, call 1-732-549-4442.
