America’s 9/11 Foundation Motorcycle Run To Stop In Linden

LINDEN – Applebee’s restaurant at 671 West Edgar Road in Linden will host a stopover point for the America’s 9/11 Foundation Motorcycle Run on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The America’s 9/11 Foundation raises money for the families of first responder personnel who were victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Approximately 3,000 motorcycles are expected to take part in the event, which starts in Virginia and goes through Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, Pa. before arriving in New York.

Applebee’s restaurant in Linden will offer the riders food and entertainment. The U.S. Marine Corps, the Linden High School ROTC and the Linden Fire Department bagpipes will all perform, and Mayor Richard Gerbounka and other city and state officials are scheduled to attend.
