NEW BRUNSWICK – Cheryl Williams of North Brunswick has been designated as the Middlesex Vicinage municipal division manager, Assignment Judge Travis Francis announced.
As the municipal division manager, Williams will be responsible for assisting with the management of the day-to-day operations of the municipal division and fostering relations with Middlesex County’s municipal courts.
“Cheryl has been an integral part of the vicinage management team,” said Judge Francis. “She brings to this new position a great deal of managerial experience, enthusiasm and a desire to continue to serve the residents of Middlesex County.”
A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in political science, Williams began her career with the Judiciary in the civil division as chief clerk in 1999. In 2006, she was named the assistant civil division manager in the Middlesex Vicinage. As assistant civil division manager, Williams garnered a wealth of experience serving in both the law division and special civil part.
“While I will miss working with the staff in the civil division and overseeing the day-to-day activities, I am honored to be given this opportunity to serve as the municipal division manager. I am enthusiastic to begin my new position and look forward to the challenges ahead,” said Williams.
