EDISON — On July 30, the local Marine Corps Toys for Tots went to Kiddie Keep Well Camp in Edison to provide a barbecue lunch for the campers. All of the food was provided through donations procured by the Marines. They were assisted in cooking by volunteers from the Edison Elks Club.
Kiddie Keep Well Camp is a private, non-profit corporation, which provides a residential camping experience for disadvantaged children from Middlesex County between 6-15 years of age. The program focuses on health and wellness and includes a physical and a dental exam for each camper. In addition to the traditional camping activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, sports, nature, campfires, dance and drama we also provide programs on fire safety, gang awareness, and character development.
The camp is provided at no cost to the families. Contact the camp office at 1-732-548-6542 for more information.
