SCOTCH PLAINS — Monday, Sept. 12, marks the 25th annual Larry & Anita Reagan Golf Outing to benefit the Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care.
This year the event will be held at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains. Over the past 25 years, the golf outing, which is center’s largest fundraiser, has raised over $2 million. This money is utilized to provide services from the center’s physician, nurses, home health aides, social workers, counselors and volunteers to thousands of terminally ill patients and their loved ones.
The cost to participate is $185 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, green fees, putting green, barbecue lunch, cocktail hour, and dinner at The Gran Centurions in Clark. For those who wish to attend the cocktail hour and dinner only, the cost is $65 per person. There will be raffles and prizes. Deadline for sponsorships and signs is Sept. 3.
The Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care is one of the oldest and largest freestanding, non-profit hospice organizations in the state and has earned a reputation for providing quality care since 1982.
