Miss America 2011 Delivers Blizzards of Miracles To Patients

NEW BRUNSWICK — Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan, a national goodwill ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, visited patients at PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital and delivered blizzard ice cream treats during the sixth annual Dairy Queen® Miracle Treat Day, Aug. 11. One dollar or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating locations that day will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, a charity that raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada.
