Bank’s Food Drive Helps Fight Hunger in New Jersey

FAIR LAWN –Columbia Bank employees recently collected non-perishable food, health and beauty aids, bulk pack items and paper goods as part of the bank’s Eighth Annual Employee Food Drive. The items collected were shared with four New Jersey food banks — the South Jersey Food Bank, The Saint James Food Pantry, the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry and The Center for Food Action.

As a result of this collection effort,

  • 511 pounds of groceries were distributed to the South Jersey Food Bank in Pennsauken
  • 81 bags of groceries were distributed to The St. James Food Pantry in Woodbridge
  • 23 bags of groceries and bulk pack items were distributed to the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry in Keyport.
  • 248 bags of groceries and bulk pack items were distributed to The Center for Food Action in Englewood.
