Literacy Volunteers Offers Free GED Prep Test Class

UNION COUNTY — Literacy Volunteers of Union County is offering free GED test prep classes to help individuals who want to take the high school equivalency exam and earn a GED certificate. Classes will be conducted in Plainfield and Springfield.

The Plainfield classes will start on Sept. 12 and are being offered during the day from 10 a.m. to noon and in the evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The location will be announced later this month.

Springfield classes will be held at the Springfield Public Library located at 66 Mountain Avenue in Springfield during the daytime on Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Advance registration is required and is being conducted at the Plainfield Public Library located at 800 Park Avenue on Aug.15 and 16 at the following times: 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. For more information contact Dawn Harrison 1-908-757-1111, extension 122.
