ELIZABETH–It will be a great day on the links or at the spa as The Trinitas Health Foundation’s Annual Golf Classic and Spa Day, set for Monday, Sept. 12, takes place at a new location, the Echo Lake Country Club, at 515 Springfield Avenue in Westfield, and the Vito Mazza Day Spa in Woodbridge.

“The move to Echo Lake Country Club will bring our golfers and guests to one of the most beautiful settings for golf in the state,” comments Nadine Brechner, Chief Development Officer and Executive Director of the Trinitas Health Foundation. “In fact, the course in Echo Lake Park is referred to as ‘the hidden gem’ of New Jersey golf. The property is convenient to the major roads in Union County and boasts one of the loveliest and most well-appointed club houses around. We are delighted that we can host this very popular event at this site this year.”

The $650 per-golfer fee for the Classic covers golf, power cart, buffet brunch, refreshments on the course, cocktail reception, sit-down dinner, premium gifts, and a chance for exciting raffle prizes. There will be a single shot gun start at noon and early registration is encouraged.

Those who want to enjoy the Spa Day option at Vito Mazza Day Spa will be pampered with round trip limousine transportation from Echo Lake. Spa Sessions will be held at 8:15 or 11:15 a.m. The Spa Day is limited to only 29 guests at a cost of $650 per person.

“Evening Only” events — a cocktail reception and dinner — are available at a cost of $125.

“This is the fourth year for our spa option. It was such an immediate hit when we introduced it that it has proven to be a ‘hole-in-one’ for this great day of fundraising,” explains Nadine Brechner. “While our avid golfers enjoy the day outside, those who prefer a day of relaxation, rejuvenation and serenity can join us at Vito Mazza Salon & Day Spa in Woodbridge, New Jersey, one of the area’s premier day spas. Past experience has shown that spirits are high at this fall fundraiser, so we look forward to welcoming those who have been with us in the past was well as newcomers we hope will join us this year and then at future events,” Nadine sums up.

“This fundraiser has been great fun in the past for those who take part and support Trinitas Regional Medical Center,” explains Susan Head, Chairperson of the Trinitas Health Foundation. “By joining us at this event, businesses, corporations, agencies and individuals make a real difference in Trinitas’ ability to ensure quality healthcare in our community. Enjoying a round of golf, networking, or enjoying a stress-free day at the spa, plus cocktails and dinner, that’s a great day no matter how you look at it.”
