Union Catholic Plans “Race To The Gold” 5K Run

SCOTCH PLAINS – As part of the celebration of Union Catholic High School’s 50th anniversary, the school will host a 5K run event to raise money for its athletic program.

“UC’s Race To The Gold 5K Run” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the high school, 1600 Martine Avenue, Scotch Plains. There will be awards for the overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers by age group. The first 250 entrants will receive t-shirts, and there will be post-race food and refreshments.

The registration fee is $20 if received before Oct. 1 and $25 afterwards (including day-of-race registration. Race day registration and bib number pickup will begin at 7:30 a.m. The race starts at 9 a.m.
