EAST BRUNSWICK — Keeping the Spirit of ’45 Alive is an initiative to establish an annual day to honor the achievements of what is often referred to as America’s “greatest generation.”
Right at Home, a company that offers in-home companion and personal care and assistance to seniors and disabled adults who want to continue to live independently, is inviting the community to a free luncheon on Aug. 10 at 11 in order to say “thank you” to those who served in uniform and those who supported them on the home front. The luncheon will be held at Care One, 599 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Entertainment will also be provided and will bring attendees back to 1945.
They endured the great depression, they preserved our freedoms and they rebuilt a shattered world!! Today, WWII Veterans are now passing away at an estimated rate of one every 90 seconds. “At Right at Home, our hope is that we have helped to provide our veterans with excellent and dignified care in their final years. In as much as we are providing care and companionship to our clients, we learn so much from them. This generation is truly inspirational,” said Beth Sholom, owner, Right at Home of CNJ, LLC.
