Film Festival Continues At The Springfield Library

SPRINGFIELD–The Summer International Film Festival continues at the Springfield Free Public Library on Thursday, Aug. 4. The library will screen The Way Home (2002) at noon and 7 p.m. A 7-year-old boy whose parents are divorced is sent to his grandmother in the country, who is in poor health, and cannot speak. Sang-woo prefers to spend his time playing with his video game rather than have anything to do with her. But as time goes on, he realizes how much she means to him. 80 minutes. In Korean with English subtitles. Rated PG.

The Summer International Film Festival will conclude on Thursday, Aug. 11. The library will screen The Concert (2009) at noon and 6:45 p.m. 119 minutes. In French and Russian with English subtitles. Rated PG-13.
