CARTERET – Carteret Public Schools reminds parents of children entering the sixth grade next month to turn in an updated immunization form to the middle school nurse.

New Jersey law requires students to obtain certain immunizations before the new school year starts once they have turned 11 years old. Failure to comply will result in an exclusion letter being sent home to all students that have not returned the immunization form by Sept. 1, and they will not be allowed to attend school on Sept. 6.

Parents may bring the immunization form to the Carteret Middle School, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. during the summer months.
