CRANFORD — Union County College will be hosting orientation sessions this summer for students who are going to be starting classes at the college this fall and for those who may still be interested in enrolling for the fall semester. The orientation sessions will be held in August and attendees are encouraged to come to the session which best fits their schedule.
The sessions will be held on Aug. 2 and Aug. 17, both at 4 p.m. at the Elizabeth Campus in the Kellogg Building located at 40 West Jersey Street. On Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. and on Aug. 27 at 9 a.m. the sessions will be held in the Richel Student Commons on the Cranford campus located at 1033 Springfield Avenue. On Aug. 16 at 4 p.m., a session will be held in Building #2 on the Plainfield Campus located at 232 E. Second Street.
Each session will begin with a campus fair, which will provide students and their parents with the opportunity to meet with representatives of academic departments, student organizations, and administrative departments and to learn more about Union County College. The orientation session will provide new students with the opportunity to meet their future classmates, to learn about student activities, to tour the campus, to learn about the counseling and tutoring services available at the college, and a chance to begin to explore career paths.
To attend any of the above sessions, RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-908-709-7518. All orientation sessions are free; however, RSVPs are recommended.
