LINDEN – A senior who graduated from Linden High School last month received a scholarship from a leading accounting and business consulting firm.
As part of Citrin Cooperman’s 7th annual High School Accounting/Business Student Grant program, Kevin Rodriguez will receive a $1,000 annual grant for four years. Rodriguez was accepted at Marshall University, in West Virginia.
Citrin Cooperman’s college grant program, begun in 2005, awards scholarships based on academic achievement and a strong desire to pursue a career in the accounting or business field. The firm awarded a total of 11 scholarships this year.
“We’re pleased to be able to award these scholarships,” said Alex Serrano, Citrin Cooperman’s co-managing partner of the New Jersey office. “Each year, it is wonderful to see so many fine students interested in the fields of business and accounting.”
