Concert Series Returns To Warren Park

WOODBRIDGE – The annual Music In The Park summer concert series, presented by the Middlesex County Department of Parks & Recreation, returns to the Warren Park Mini-Theater off Florida Grove Road in Woodbridge this week.

Mark Heter and His Band will bring “Thistle Rose and Shamrock – Music of Scotland, England and Ireland” to Woodbridge from 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 10.


Subsequent shows include the Brio Concert Band playing in the style of Sousa and Goldman on July 17,the George Krauss Memorial Band on July 24 and the Great American Rootin’ Tootin’, High Falutin’, Puttin’ on the Ritz Novelty Band on July 31.

The series continues in August with the Billion Dollar Sound presenting swing music on Aug. 7 and Bernie Goydish’s Jersey Polka Stars on Aug. 28.

Weekly summer concerts are also held on Sunday evenings at the Spring Lake Park Gazebo in South Plainfield, on Wednesday evenings at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy and on Wednesday afternoons at the Thompson Park Gazebo in Jamesburg. For more information, visit
