CRANFORD—Chris Messineo, director of the New Jersey Film School, will present a program on master director Alfred Hitchcock on Thursday, July 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue. The presentation will feature film clips, anecdotes, analysis, film history and a Q & A session.

Sir Alfred Hitchcock directed more than 60 films spanning more than 50 years. With a distinctive style, both in front of the camera and behind it, his movies have influenced generations of filmmakers. By watching classic scenes from “Rear Window,” “North by Northwest,” “Psycho,” and “The Birds,” you will discover what made Hitchcock “the master of suspense.” The free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cranford Public Library and all are welcome.
