Union Library Announces Summer Film Festival

UNION — The Union Public Library continues its International Film Festival with six selections for summer 2011 beginning Tuesday, July 5, and continuing through Aug. 9.  Six countries are represented in the program: France, Belgium, South Korea, England, South Africa, and Australia.

The films will be screened twice, with show times beginning at 2 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. on successive Tuesdays.  Admission to the series is free.

The following feature films will be shown: The King’s Speech, White Wedding, Mademoiselle Chambon, Mao’s Last Dancer, The Way Home, and The Concert.  All non-English language films are subtitled in English.
