Golden Falcon Baseball Camp Set For Third Year In Linden

LINDEN – The Linden Department of Public Property and Community Services will present the Golden Falcon Baseball Camp in Linden from Monday, July 18, to Thursday, July 21. Linden children who are completing grades K-8 during the current school year are eligible to take part.

The Golden Falcon Baseball Camp will be starting its 13th year of developing youth in the game of baseball. This is its third year in Linden. The camp is under the direction of Ed Ward, the former assistant baseball coach at Division I New Jersey Institute of Technology.


Camp tuition is $150. Every camper will receive a t-shirt, a camp certificate, and a written evaluation on their performance for the week. There are also special awards for the campers that will be given throughout the four days of camp.

Sessions run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Edward Flanagan Little League Complex, So. Stiles Street in Linden. Friday, July 22 is scheduled as a rain date in the event of bad weather on one of the four camp session days.
