Wardlaw-Hartridge School Graduates 34 Students

EDISON — The Wardlaw-Hartridge School held is 128th Commencement on Friday, June 10 in Plumeri Gym.

Thirty-four members of the Class of 2011 marched in, led by Patrick Liu ’11 of Edison and Ashley DaCosta ’11 of Fords carrying the class flag. The program began with the Star Spangled Banner and a welcome from Rhona Eserner, Upper School Head.


Three senior class members made remarks – Kelsey Hart ’11 of Edison (The Past), Jian Bland ’11 of Edison (The Present) and Patrick Liu ’11 of Edison (The Future). Andrew Webster, Head of School, delivered a Charge to the Class of 2011 and Randolph C. Rogers ’81, Board of Trustees President, provided greetings and best wishes during his remarks.

The 34 graduates received their diplomas after Susan Swenson, Director of College Counseling, announced their names. The seniors in the choir joined the alumni in the singing of the school song before the recessional.

Parents, families, friends, faculty and staff joined the graduates for a reception in the AP Room following the ceremony.
