RAHWAY — On Tuesday, June 21, Rahway High School celebrated the achievements of its 311 seniors with a graduation ceremony at Veterans Memorial Field.
Graduates and families were addressed by Class President Hanif Denny, Principal John Farinella, Valedictorian Austin Zatorski, and Salutatorian Amanda Reeseg. Superintendent Edward Yergalonis presented the graduates to Board of Education President Richard Trocciola and Vice President Justin Tupik, who awarded students their long-awaited diplomas.
Class of 2011 Vice President Alyssa Klingler gave the farewell address. The Rahway High School Band provided processional and recessional music.
Top Ten students honored (ordered by rank) included Austin Zatorski, Amanda Reeseg, Anny Caba, Melissa Sonatore, Ryan MacDonald, Kerrianne Farrell, Jennifer Caruso, Timothy Thebodeau, Alan Nortey, and Alison Reeseg.
