Field of Fun

CLARK — The entire student body of Valley Road School in Clark had a blast at the school’s annual PTA-sponsored Field Day. Every year in June, students and teachers take a day off from their studies to enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games.

In addition to age-old favorites like potato sack and relay races, this year’s field day brought new and exciting games to the school including a dunk tank and human car wash. Students were able to “take aim” at their favorite teachers and try to send them plummeting into a tank of water. Good sport and physical education aide, Mrs. Brennan, got quite a soaking that day. Games weren’t the only fun the students had, a barbecue lunch complete with corn on the cob and watermelon was provided to all of the students courtesy of the PTA.
