RAHWAY — Did you know that New Jersey has a free-standing hospice facility? Or that Medicare covers annual hearing tests? Are you aware that physicians will make house calls and that in-home companions are available?

On Monday, June 20 at 2 p.m. at the Rahway Public Library will host members of the Caring, Sharing Network who will discuss vital information regarding senior services. Learn about home healthcare services, visiting physicians, hearing healthcare, palliative and hospice care, and lifestyle transitions. There will be a 25-minute presentation followed by a question and answer session.

The Caring Sharing Network was started in 2008 by Lois Shanker from Right at Home with Donna Occhipinti from Visiting Physician Service, Joy Kleinman from Beltone Hearing Aid Centers, Nancy Rager Center from Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, and Susan Devaney from the Moving Mavins. This group has done over 50 presentations to groups in New Jersey.
