UNION COUNTY — On June 10, about 20 volunteers from Ernst and Young teamed up with the Come Grow With Us! Union County Community Gardening Program, and constructed 20 raised garden beds at two locations, the 1st Baptist Church on Dill Avenue in Linden, and at the Roselle Day Care Center on 5th Avenue in Roselle. The gardens are meant to provide access to fresh locally grown foods to benefit populations in urban communities. Groundwork Elizabeth regularly works with the United Way of Greater Union County to gather volunteers and has been the administrator of the program since 2010.
