CLARK — The Gran Centurions Club of Clark held its annual scholarships awards presentations at a formal dinner where the guest speaker Kenneth Knops, superintendent of Clark Public Schools, commended the recipients on their accomplishments.
Chairman Henry Varriano and his committee consisting of Jo Vincenti, Marge Jasman, and Angelo Preite presented scholarships to the following students: The Peter Tomassi Award was presented to Dean Del Vecchio; the Centurion Awards went to Kelsey Logan and Alex Rodrigues: and the Fred Caruso award presented to Jesse Crowley all seniors at Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark.
In addition to the above mentioned scholarships, the Italian Language Proficiency award went to Alison Calo and Tara Kirk, also students from Arthur L. Johnson.
The Twig Award, associated with the Robert Wood Hospital in Rahway, was presented by Twig President Kaye Guarino to Colleen Jones who attends Cranford High School.
