Eighth Graders Accepted Into Student Leadership Program

RAHWAY — Rahway Middle School students Mia-Sade Greene, Paul Mera and Aliyah Shell are heading to Stanford University and the University of Michigan this summer.

The eighth graders have been accepted into the LEAD Program (Leadership Education and Development) whose mission is “…to enable youth of diverse backgrounds to convert high potential into high achievement and responsible leadership.”

At the universities, the students will spend one-week part of the Lead Computer Science Institute where they will gain exposure to computer science.
