RAHWAY – Second grade students at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway studied the life cycle of insects. Students were intrigued by watching caterpillars change into butterflies. After observing the caterpillars transform into butterflies, the students set them free.

Second grade students at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway also observed the metamorphosis of the darkling beetle. Students were amazing to learn that mealworms turn into beetles.
