There is nothing more frustrating than getting a telephone call and it’s someone soliciting a product or some type of service. This has been happening to me any number of times and I’ve had it.
At this point, I’ve put a message on my telephone as follows: “Give your name or I will not answer if I am at home.” What could be clearer than that? My friends think it’s hilarious, and you have no idea how many times it’s a hang up, so it must be working.
How many times does it happen to others, when you are in the middle of doing dishes (no dishwasher), in the middle of doing wash, or in the middle of a personal endeavor? Too many, I’m sure.
Very soon, election time will be here and we will be overcome with calls from candidates running for office that drive me berserk! The latest was a call from President Clinton. Give me a break! He is Ex-President Clinton. If I misunderstood, I apologize, but I still don’t want those calls. People, I do believe, know which way they intend to go at election time so give us common folks the benefit of the doubt.
