Students Learn About Building Bridges To Prevent Bullying

RAHWAY — The Blue Sky Puppet Theatre recently put on a performance of “Building Bridges” at Madison Elementary School in Rahway. The program was an introduction to conflict resolution and peer mediation as a way to prevent bullying. The puppets were used to create a day in a student’s life scenes were at home, at school, on the playground, and in the neighborhood. The theme focused on peaceful solutions to conflict. The show was upbeat, and inspirational. It showed students about real conflicts, pressures, and problems that young people confront every day. (Photo courtesy of Madison School)
