Benedictine Academy Hosted Art Show

ELIZABETH– Benedictine Academy in Elizabeth hosted an art show for girls in grades 5-8 on Friday, May 6. Students from local elementary schools participated. Entries in the fields of photography, drawing and painting were submitted. Briana Kung of St. Agnes School in Clark took first prize. Shirley Ochoa and Taylor Andrews, both from St. Genevieve School in Elizabeth, took second and third place, respectively.

Shirley Ochoa of St. Genevieve’s School, Elizabeth, is proud of her art piece, “Pond Life” which won second prize at Benedictine Academy’s recent Art Show.

Taylor Andrews won third place at Benedictine Academy’s recent Art Show. The St. Genevieve School (Elizabeth) student was one of many who entered the competition, held at the Academy in Elizabeth in early May. Andrews’ art piece is titled “Cherry Blossoms”.
