CLARK – Fourth graders at Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark were introduced to the elements of culture then did a research project to identify elements of their own culture. The students decorated a shoebox with photos, drawings, souvenirs or food items representing one country from their family’s ancestry. The students presented their culture boxes to the class and explained the items inside. The students visited each fourth grade class to observe other students’.
