Doctor Offers Words Of Encouragement To Linden Students

LINDEN — Dr. Gretchen Carter addressed Linden School No. 4’s third and fourth grade students, offering inspirational words as they prepared to take the New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (NJ ASK) test. Carter spoke of her personal experiences on her journey into the field of medicine.

Carter was also quite moved to be greeted by one of her former teachers and the inspiration for her interest in science. Joseph Cataline presented her with a floral bouquet on behalf of School No. 4.

Carter gave the students small tokens of her appreciation. In addition, she accepted School No. 4’s invitation to become the newest member of the School’s Parent Action Committee.
