Rotary Golf Outing to Benefit Scholarships Program

NEW BRUNSWICK – On Tuesday, May 10, the Rotary Club of New Brunswick will offer the 15th Annual New Brunswick Rotary Golf Outing to benefit the Rotary Club’s College Scholarship Program for graduates of Highland Park, New Brunswick and North Brunswick High Schools.

All activities will take place at the Forsgate Country Club golf course in Monroe Township.

In this exciting event, registration starts at 11 a.m., putting contest at noon, and shotgun start for the match at 1:30 p.m. Among other activities, there are contests for longest drive, straightest drive, closest to pin, plus a 50/50 raffle and silent auction!

The $250 per player package (foursome $1,000) includes greens fees, lunch and dinner, reception and awards program.

Scholarship awards are made to students who achieve academically, demonstrate need and also have extensive community service experience. All golf outing costs are underwritten by sponsors and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the scholarship program, raising more than $20,000 for scholarships. Sponsors include Brunswick Bank & Trust, Buist, Inc., Corporate Synergies, and Norris Insulation.
