EDISON — Menlo Park Mall invites moms to let their hair down at the 2rd Annual National Mom’s Nite Out on Thursday, May 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sponsored by StriVectin, this free event is a guilt-free excuse for moms to take the night off to relax and enjoy a celebration of motherhood.
“We’re thrilled to be participating in National Mom’s Nite Out with Simon Malls and look forward to rewarding moms with free StriVectin samples, a giveaway and a special gift with purchase just for attendees,” said Jill Scalamandre, Chief Marketing Officer for StriVectin.
Moms will join together for a well-deserved break to socialize and relax at this event featuring networking, style presentations, shopping incentives, pampering and other fun amenities. Some activities include a cooking demonstration and food sampling by Ariana’s Grand, tasting provided by Joe Canal’s Discount Liquor Outlet and delicious sampling by Dove Chocolate Discoveries (chocolate dipping) and La Bonbonniere Bake Shoppes’s cupcakes.
Throughout the evening, there will be live music by Great American Piano Company and DJ Trent and many other fantastic offerings from Menlo Park Mall retailers. Alan Singer PH.D, author of “Creating Your Perfect Family Size,” will be signing copies of his book, courtesy of Barnes & Noble. Participants who register will receive a complimentary gift bag filled with samples and coupons and can enter-to-win a Ladies Night Out in New York City with tickets to see Broadway’s Love, Loss and What I Wore and a giftcard for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Also, attendees are encouraged to donate pocketbooks, wallets and more to the Home News Tribune table to benefit Gannett NJ Group Newspaper in Education Foundation.
“Menlo Park Mall is the perfect place to thank and celebrate mothers for all that they do,” said Suzy Lichter, area director of marketing for Menlo Park Mall and Brunswick Square. “We absolutely believe that moms deserve some pampering and we are delighted to play a part in facilitating this special evening.”
Fifteen million moms are expected to take part in this national event. Moms across the United States will unite in celebrating motherhood with each other via local and national events as well as cyber celebrations. Organized by Maria Bailey, CEO of BSM Media, author and Mom Talk Radio host, National Mom’s Nite Out unites social media groups, companies, local playgroups, mom bloggers and networks in giving moms a well-deserved night off. Bailey organized the first National Mom’s Nite Out after watching moms take care of everyone else on Mother’s Day, but never themselves.
“We created National Mom’s Nite Out because so many of today’s mothers spend Mother’s Day focused on catering to the needs of others,” said Maria Bailey, National Mom’s Nite Out organizer and mother of four. “We decided that moms deserve one night off from cooking, cleaning and responsibility and need time to celebrate motherhood with each other.”
Simon Property Group is hosting National Mom’s Nite Out at 115 of its malls across the country. All activities are free and open to moms of all ages.
