Middlesex County American Legion To Hold Convention

SOUTH PLAINFIELD – American Legion members from throughout Middlesex County will convene at Post 243, 243 Oak Tree Road, South Plainfield, on Saturday, May 7 at 9 a.m., to elect officers for the 2011-2012 year, and present county Americanism awards to area students.

Outgoing County Commander Jim Muller, of Clara Barton Post 324, Edison, will preside and give the oath of office to incoming Commander Ron Davie, of Iselin Post 471. All Middlesex County American Legion members are encouraged to attend.
