Teen Lock-In at the South Amboy Y

SOUTH AMBOY — The South Amboy Branch YMCA will be hosting a Lock-In for Y members aged 13-16, geared towards keeping kids off drugs and alcohol. The Lock-In will start at 10 p.m. on Friday, June 3 and last until 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. The Y will provide a night full of entertainment and music.

Teens will have access to the pool until 12:30 a.m., and have the option to play Wii video games, watch movies, or play board games all night. Food will be provided at the beginning of the night, and snacks will be served throughout the Lock-In.

Special guest Steve Rose, a talented magician, will be putting on a 45-minute magic show followed by 15 minutes of close up magic from 1-2 a.m. The gym will be open play from 10 p.m. until the magic show starts; and will have scheduled games of basketball, volleyball and kickball after the show through the early morning hours.
