Rahway Library Offers Job Readiness Workshop Series

RAHWAY — Rahway Public Library, in collaboration with Middlesex County College, will be continuing the Job Readiness Workshop Series on Wednesday evenings during the month of May.

These workshops are for those who are looking for employment or considering a job transition. Each workshop will cover the computer and job search skills vital for finding work in today’s job market. Charlie Pullara from Middlesex County College will present the series.


The first workshop will be on creating resumes and other career documents in Word and Optimal Resume on May 4 and 11. The second will be on creating and effectively using an email account for job searches will be on May 18 and 25.

Each of these programs will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the computer lab at the Rahway Public Library located at 2 City Hall Plaza, Rahway. Registration is required for each workshop and participants must attend both sessions. Call 1-732-340-1551 ext. 212 or stop at the Reference Desk to register.
