Cranford Athlete Selected To Play In GMC All-Star Basketball Game

EDISON — Ian English of Cranford, a senior at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, drains one of his many 3-point shots during a home game last winter. English was selected to play in the Greater Middlesex County Conference Senior Basketball All-Star Game at Perth Amboy High School on April 20. English finished an outstanding four-year varsity career with 859 points. Last winter, he was tied for sixth in GMC in 3-point field goals with 51, accounting for more than half of the team’s threes.
