Benedictine Academy Announces 3rd Q Honor Roll

ELIZABETH—Benedictine Academy, an all-female Catholic college prep high school in Elizabeth, has released its third quarter honor roll. Thirty-nine exemplary students at the Academy were named to first and second honors based on outstanding academic performance. Thirty-one additional students earned “Honorable Mention” status for their academic work during the third quarter. All were to be recognized at a breakfast held at the school in April.

Named to first honors at the Academy were: Grade 12- Geraline Arroyo of Union; Grade 11-Dinh Do of Union; Grade 10- Michelle Colonia of Elizabeth; and Grade 9- Krizia Joyce Mendoza of Union. First honors students must maintain a 93 average and above in all subjects.


Achieving second honors recognition at Benedictine Academy were:
Grade 12- Emilie Burke of Colonia; Stefanie Eller and Chisom Emeana, both of Hillside; Megan Hely of Union; Haneah Jackson of Hillside; Chelsea Odufu of Newark; Alicia Onacki of Roselle; and Sara Pereira and Jessica Silva, both of Elizabeth.

Grade 11- Stephanie Anibal and Rosebriar Chelot, both of Elizabeth; Elorie Jean of Irvington; Kimberly Lawton of Elizabeth; Andrea Mendoza of Union; Abieyuwa Omakaro of Hillside; Crismeldy Segura of Newark; and Daniella Travesso of Irvington.

Grade 10- Kai Alexander of Irvington; Kelly Amorim and Krystal Burns, both of Newark; Tabitha Davis of Irvington; Norky Diaz of Newark; Samantha Frejuste and Shervonne Gittens, both of Irvington; Samantha Herrejon of Union; and Heidi Isabel of Bloomfield.

Grade 9- Harpreet Kaur and Ewa Kowalczyk, both of Elizabeth; Ramira Mayse of Linden; Domanique Randazzo of Elizabeth; Germilda Saint-Victor of Hillside; Sydney Sigue of Elizabeth; Alyssa Silva of Newark; Eunice Waklatsi of Elizabeth; and, Jada Yarbough of Newark.

Second honors students at Benedictine Academy must maintain an 83 average and above in all subjects.

Students earning “Honorable Mention” for their academic work in a wide array of subjects during the third quarter at Benedictine Academy are:

Grade 11- Jennifer Abbondante of Union; Aisha Burgess of East Orange; DeAzah Davis of Rahway; Chloe Easton and Mehek Kulsoom, both of Newark; Angela Ngei of Elizabeth; and Ariana Taveras and Viviana Zambrano, both of Newark.

Grade 10- Barbara Borges of Elizabeth; Nylah Daniels of Newark; Martha Devia of Elizabeth; Jacqueline Herrera of Roselle; Shana Lugay of Newark; Gabrielle Soto of Hillside; Priscilla Sunduza of Elizabeth; and Beatrice Thompson-Quartey of Newark.

Grade 9- Ana Alves of Hillside; Katrice Campbell of Irvington; Tahjanaya Dorival of Roselle; Carla Gouveia of Union Beach; Aaliyah Hill-Grevious of Union and Jordann Perez of Roselle Park.
