Free Immunizations For Elizabeth Children During National Infant Immunization Week

ELIZABETH–The City of Elizabeth, the Rotary Club of Elizabeth, Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Runnells Specialized Hospital and a coalition of area agencies and corporations have teamed to provide free immunizations to city children during National Infant Immunization Week, April 25 – 29. The effort will provide free, lifesaving immunizations to children age six and younger.

To encourage participation in the effort, the Rotary Club will offer a limited supply of $10 Stop & Shop store coupons to families for each child immunized.

According to Steven Hafer, President of the Rotary Club of Elizabeth, “Parents are urged to bring their children – along with any records of past immunizations – to one of our sites for a free evaluation. If certain immunizations are needed, they will be provided free of charge.”

A full schedule of immunization clinics has been organized as follows:

Monday, April 25: from 8:30AM to 2:30PM at Runnells Specialized Hospital Immunization Clinic of Union County, 342 Westminster Avenue, Elizabeth

Tuesday, April 26: from 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon at the Peterstown Community Center, 409 Palmer Street, Elizabeth; from 8:30AM to 2:30PM at Runnells Specialized Hospital Immunization Clinic of Union County, 342 Westminster Avenue, Elizabeth; and from 1:30PM to 4:00PM at Trinitas Regional Medical Center’s Pediatric Health Center, 65 Jefferson Avenue, Elizabeth.

Wednesday, April 27: from 9:00AM to 11:30AM at the Elmora Racquet Club, 23 Fernwood Terrace, Elizabeth; from 8:30AM to 2:30PM at the Runnells Specialized Hospital Immunization Clinic of Union County, 342 Westminster Avenue, Elizabeth, and from 3:30PM to 5:30PM at Elizabeth City Hall, Ground Floor, 50 Winfield Scott Plaza, Elizabeth.

Thursday, April 28: from 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon at the Sampson Center, 800 Anna Street, Elizabeth; from 8:30AM to 2:30PM at the Runnells Specialized Hospital Immunization Clinic of Union County, 342 Westminster Avenue, Elizabeth; and from 1:30PM to 4:00PM at Trinitas Regional Medical Center’s Pediatric Health Center, 65 Jefferson Avenue, Elizabeth.

Friday, April 29, from noon to 2:00PM at the Peterstown Community Center, 409 Palmer Street, Elizabeth.
