RAHWAY — Recently, the Rahway High School Water Champions Program, a division of the high school’s Social Action Club, was honored at the Garden State Green Awards during the Garden State Green Fest held at Kean University. The club, which worked under the leadership of English teacher Elizabeth Graner and in collaboration with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, Rutgers, and Americorps, was recognized for its efforts in providing water audits of Rahway High School as well as local businesses and raising awareness about water conservation.
