PLAINFIELD – Union County’s mobile paper-shredding program will come to Cedar Brook Park in Plainfield on Friday, April 15 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

NEXCUT Shredding of Teaneck will help Union County residents safely dispose of unwanted personal documents at the event. There is a limit of four 10-pound bags or boxes per person; the shredding event will end before 1 p.m. if the truck reaches capacity.

Residents should remove all plastic binders and paperclips before presenting documents for shredding. The shredded documents will be recycled. Non-confidential papers and magazines should be recycled through municipal recycling programs.
