Family Services Fair For Perth Amboy Residents

PERTH AMBOY— The city’s Human Services Department will hold the Perth Amboy Family Service Fair on Saturday, April 16, from 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools located on 457 High Street.

This fair is being held as an outreach effort to inform Perth Amboy residents of the resources and aid available to them throughout the city.  The Family Services Fair will table the information of many local non-profit and government services including the, Jewish Renaissance Foundation, Catholic Charities, U.S. Postal Service, Middlesex County Youth One-Stop Center, 19th Legislative District Office, Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Social Security Administration, Raritan Bay Medical Center, Middlesex County Board of Social Services, Perth Amboy Housing Authority and many more.  Also, several city departments will be also present including staff members of the Office of the Mayor, Office of Recreation, Housing and Social Services, Public Library and Public Safety.


Also present will be other service organizations that provide assistance to our residents at either at no cost or for a limited fee in the areas of healthcare, childcare services, housing and programs for children, teens, adults and seniors.

“We want to ensure the use of the countless resources available to the residents of Perth Amboy. This is an outreach project for our community, we want to be there for those who need some guidance and help on things that come up in our daily lives,” said Mayor Wilda Diaz.
