RAHWAY — Gifted and Talented fourth grade students in Rahway have just completed a two-day program, “Watt Watchers,” conducted by Carol Wilson from Wilson Educational Services in Connecticut.
The Watt Watchers program taught the students to use academic skills to recognize problems of electricity waste in their school. Students worked in small groups, seeking to identify appropriate solutions to the problems found and calculate the savings to be achieved by correcting the problems. They will be presenting their final report and recommendations to Superintendent of the Rahway Public Schools, Edward L. Yergalonis.
