WESTFIELD — The Hope Chest Thrift Shop at 26 Prospect Street, Westfield will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary on Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2, offering women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and household items at reasonable prices.
The shop is operated by volunteers from the Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Auxiliary. The manager of the shop, Helga Thomas, announced that as an anniversary special all household items will be sold at half-price. In addition, the shop will offer every 10th customer a $10 gift certificate to be used for purchases in the shop.
All proceeds help the center provide a special way of caring for families dealing with end-of-life issues. The Center for Hope is a non-profit hospice serving the terminally ill of the community, regardless of their ability to pay.
The Hope Chest is opened Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For directions, call the shop at 1-908-233-9973.
